Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States seeks a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure product quality. You will design processes, analyze capacity, and coordinate ERP activities to keep BOMs and routings current.

The role emphasizes manufacturability in new product development and PFMEA to sustain top quality standards, with strong collaboration with the Plant Manager and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/technical position working with plant processes.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge is required.
• Experience in Excel, macros, SQL and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize production processes, including capacity analysis and cost insights.
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency.
• Engage in PFMEA to ensure quality standards are met.
• Contribute to new product development with manufacturability in mind.
• Evaluate investments for manufacturing feasibility and profitability.
• Maintain ERP data: materials, BOMs, and routings with the Engineering team.
