Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Santa Teresa, NM is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

You will support production with process improvements, equipment programming, training, and new product implementation while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include acting as SME for CNC, PLC, and automation systems, developing tooling and work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field preferred.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering or process improvement experience.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, tooling, and production equipment.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, CNC machinery, automation, or related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, routers, waterjets, saws, robotics, and PLC systems.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions.
• Analyze production methods to improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Program, troubleshoot, and support manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Lead process changes and coordinate new product launches into production.
• Support preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
