Job summary

The role involves leading process improvements, coordinating training, and supporting plant-wide production control systems and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement, problem resolution, and employee training initiatives.
• Improve manufacturing methods for cost reduction, quality, and efficiency.
• Prepare and present plans for improvements and coordinate deployment, including training.
• Assist the Plant Manager in enhancing production control systems, SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
• Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes including production flow and assembly methods.
• Maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, set goals, train teams, and evaluate results.
• Design, develop, and test tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
• Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams and participate in cost reviews and standards development.
