Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years in metals manufacturing or similar.
• Knowledge of process controls (HMI, operator interfaces).
• Experience in cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Team with supervisors and operators to identify process improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues with production equipment on the factory floor.
• Engineer, design, install, and commission new production equipment; train operators.
• Evaluate inputs from factory floor and engineering groups to solve complex machinery issues.
• Interpret and prioritize engineering activities to optimize machinery design, safety, quality, and cost.
• Evaluate and select suppliers for cost-effective materials and subcontractors.
