Job summary

IDEX Materials Science Solutions (IDEX MSS), a unit of IDEX Corporation, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing engineering support for one or more production value streams. The role focuses on improving processes, documenting engineering work, and collaborating across departments.

A Bachelor’s in engineering and SolidWorks proficiency are required, with 2+ years in a similar role preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, optomechanical engineering or equivalent.
• SolidWorks or other 3D CAD proficiency required.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the production team and coordinate with engineering staff.
• Design fixtures, tools, prototypes and other production support items using SolidWorks.
• Maintain design records, routings, BOMs and work instructions; train operators and technicians.
• Lead root cause investigations with QA and implement containment plans and corrective actions.
• Identify, recommend and drive process and capability improvements; uphold safe work practices.
