Job summary

Foxconn System LLC in Lordstown, OH seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process design, operation and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems. You will optimize industrial processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and ensure safe production.

Duties include directing process development, supporting new programs, coordinating lean initiatives, and developing standardized work documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial engineering.
• Experience supporting new program launches and production implementation activities.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems.
• Assist in launching new programs and coordinating improvements.
• Coordinate continuous improvement processes and troubleshoot problems.
• Provide analytical assessments to recommend changes to current and proposed processes.
• Consult management and engineering to implement plans and recommendations.
• Improve effectiveness of work order and task management in production environments.
• Develop standardized work and process documentation.
• Monitor process performance indicators and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and contractors regarding manufacturing changes and ergonomic requirements.
