Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead system improvements, digitalization initiatives, and automation projects that optimize production processes and boost efficiency.

You will partner with IT, Quality, and Engineering, develop business cases with ROI, create dashboards, define KPIs, and drive Kaizen events and change management to realize measurable gains across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field required.
• 1–2 years in a continuous improvement role or related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in lean/Six Sigma and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience with manufacturing systems (MES/ERP/SCADA) and data visualization.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop business cases with ROI analyses and project justifications.

Responsibilities

• Interface with production teams to identify improvement opportunities and gather requirements for system enhancements.
• Create automated dashboards and reporting systems for production performance tracking.
• Partner with IT to develop and implement system improvements and automation solutions.
• Lead systematic improvements across departments and drive changes across the organization.
• Develop detailed business cases for digitalization initiatives and automation investments.
• Support QA in applying continuous improvement methods and SPC systems.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and lean initiatives focusing on optimization and efficiency.
• Define and monitor KPIs; prepare progress reports and performance metrics.
