Job summary

MPI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead initiatives that boost productivity, efficiency, quality, and overall performance in a growing manufacturing operation. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop and standardize processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment, partner with production teams to identify improvements, and drive Lean and Six Sigma projects across global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing engineering environment.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
Experience with 2D/3D CAD and product/process optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives to boost productivity, efficiency, quality, and performance.
Develop, standardize, and improve processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Drive lean and Six Sigma projects across operations.
Support new product introductions with efficient manufacturing requirements.
Create process controls, work instructions, and SOPs.
Manage capital equipment projects and sourcing of tooling and fixtures.
Provide root cause analysis and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues.
Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
