Job summary

MPI is seeking a manufacturing engineering leader in Londonderry, NH, to guide a global manufacturing organization known for engineering innovation. You will lead a manufacturing engineering team, drive CI initiatives, and partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to align goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on expertise supporting CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, precision manufacturing, or related processes.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Demonstrated success driving process improvements, operational excellence, and manufacturing optimization initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex projects from concept through implementation.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize initiatives, manage risk, and drive results.
• Experience with manufacturing and engineering software platforms such as SolidWorks, ERP systems, and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering team with coaching and guidance.
• Drive CI initiatives for productivity, quality, cost and efficiency.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to meet business objectives.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EH&S, and HR to align goals.
• Support new product introduction activities and transition to full-scale production.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for manufacturing engineering challenges and complex production issues.
• Oversee process documentation, manufacturing standards, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and advanced manufacturing methodologies.
• Evaluate production metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute strategic engineering plans to enhance capabilities and growth.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, accountability, and teamwork.
