ARC Group Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, quality, and safety.

You will collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and design teams to enable continuous improvement and new product introductions. The role emphasizes developing detailed project plans, evaluating methods, and applying Lean, Six Sigma, and process documentation to support NPI and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, process validation, and root cause analysis.
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans by reviewing objectives with the Program Manager.
• Improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment.
• Support NPI by creating process docs, work instructions, and assembly methods.
• Identify and implement process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma or other CI methods.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Design and conduct tests to confirm product performance.
• Maintain SOPs and process control plans and document results.
• Assist advanced R&D with new methods or materials as needed.
