Job summary

MPI in New Hampshire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the introduction of new products from development to full-scale production. You will create and maintain work instructions, routings, and bills of materials while analyzing operations for quality, productivity, safety, and cost improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with capital equipment or automation, plus the ability to read engineering drawings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience with capital equipment, automation, or electromechanical products.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience with NPI activities.
• Exposure to regulated or ISO-based manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support introduction of new products from development to full-scale manufacturing.
• Create and maintain work instructions, routings, and bills of materials.
• Analyze operations and implement process improvements for quality and cost.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support to production teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to improve manufacturability.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and testing equipment for operations.
• Work with suppliers and stakeholders to improve component manufacturability.
• Monitor production metrics to identify trends and drive performance.
• Train production personnel on new processes and SOPs.
