Job summary

Daikin Applied in Faribault, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement across production lines. You will partner with quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to streamline operations, apply work measurement, and develop processes using Lean principles.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead kaizen events, and collaborate with ME teams on work instructions, safety, and ergonomics in the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance to streamline production.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction events.
• Create work instructions, training checklists, and training matrices.
• Support NPI product design teams to enhance manufacturability.
