OPW Global in Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. You will use lean principles and advanced manufacturing techniques to enhance safety, quality, cost and delivery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in manufacturing engineering, 2+ years engineering experience, and strong GD&T, CNC, and production planning skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Two plus years of manufacturing engineering experience in similar roles.
• Equivalent experience in engineering/technical roles may substitute for a degree.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods.
• Experience with Lean and Kaizen techniques.
• Experience in production planning and GD&T.

Mansioni

• Determine efficient and cost-effective methods, sequences and tooling for fabrication and assembly.
• Apply Lean principles and data collection to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to product operations and engineers.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects and standard work development.
• Coordinate capital expenditure projects and input for cost estimates.
• Work with Oracle data for costing, routings and release of new products.
• Assist in design for manufacturing and tooling decisions to reduce cost and lead times.
