Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience with process development, troubleshooting, optimization.
• Structured root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing data and translate findings into improvements.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, CAPA, and corrective actions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication across departments.
• Hands-on in manufacturing with production teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.
• Overtime/weekend flexibility as production needs warrant.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continually improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and methods.
• Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and waste, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and IT on improvements.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and variation.
• Support new product introduction and manufacturing launches.
• Create and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, FAI, SPC, CAPA docs.
• Troubleshoot issues and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Design and improve plant layouts, workflows, and standard work.
• Assist in fixtures, tooling, and production equipment development.
• Lead capital equipment and process-improvement projects with ROI analysis.
• Analyze data and use metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize SPC, DOE, SQL, and Power BI for data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers on specs, quotes, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical training to production personnel.
• Support automation and digital/manufacturing initiatives.
