Job summary

You will own productivity projects, drive lean improvements, and work with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency while maintaining safe plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in engineering supporting a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of one (1) year of continuous improvement experience.
• Relocation not offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive manufacturing engineering and quality programs for assigned area.
• Define and drive productivity and quality projects.
• Lead lean initiatives to improve productivity and cost.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure designs enable manufacturing efficiency.
• Identify equipment and technologies to improve plant facilities and material flow.
• Develop standard work and other operational procedures.
