Job summary

Eaton's GEIS division seeks an Engineering Lab Supervisor onsite at our Syracuse, NY headquarters. You will lead day-to-day lab operations, supervise technicians, and ensure safe, efficient support for NPI, sustaining engineering, certification, and quality programs.

The role partners with the Laboratory Manager to manage test planning, readiness, backlog, and equipment maintenance while driving continuous improvement across the laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of engineering, product validation, certification, or testing-laboratory experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and driving lab improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site leadership for Syracuse laboratory operations and set priorities for the technician team.
• Direct, coach, and develop four direct reports; manage workload and development needs.
• Own lab schedule, readiness, backlog, and test-readiness reviews; coordinate multi-discipline programs.
