RRC Solutions Group in the Atlanta area seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan and design manufacturing processes, improve layout and efficiency, and lead automation initiatives.

You will work on tooling design, design reviews, FMEA, and cross-functional teams, with potential for 8–50 hour weeks and a strong 401k/bonus program. Candidates should have a BA/BS and hands-on manufacturing experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management experience required to run projects end-to-end.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Foundry experience is desired.
• Authorized to work in USA without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software (SolidWorks).
• Implement productivity improvements for current production lines.
• Perform root-cause analysis using statistical methods and Lean Tools.
• Design & implement production processes for new products and changes.
• Perform FMEA on products involving designs, materials, or processes.
• Review product designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize productivity.
• Lead design of experiments and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead design review meetings for new/existing products.
• Create work instructions, statements of work, and inventories.
• Implement automation, robotic/vision systems, controls integration, fixturing and gauging.
