Job summary

Crane Co. in Saddle Brook, New Jersey is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support production on the shop floor, troubleshoot daily issues, and contribute to tooling and process improvements.

You will develop routings, work instructions, and lean initiatives, while gaining hands-on experience with CAD tools and capital equipment projects. This is a full-time internship offering training, benefits, and exposure to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• In process of obtaining B.S. in Engineering or related degree.
• Problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily troubleshooting and root cause analysis on shop floor.
• Develops routings, tool lists, fixtures, and process instructions.
• Trains operators on proper manufacturing methods to maximize productivity.
• Leads lean initiatives and waste reduction.
• Assists with capital equipment installation and tooling changes.
• Participates in value stream mapping and continuous improvement.
