Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Engineering or related degree.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to ensure safety, efficiency and productivity.
• Develop routings, tool lists, fixtures, process instructions and process requirements for equipment and operations.
• Create work instructions and standard work documents to capture processes and flow.
• Lead waste reduction using lean and CBS methodologies and address Andon stoppages with 5 Why analysis.
• Train operators on efficient manufacturing methods to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate procurement of production materials and tooling; implement tool/fixture changes.
• Support new process/product development and capital equipment installations.
• Contribute to value stream mapping and continuous improvement plans.
• Audit and improve existing manufacturing processes and solve daily process problems.
