Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Titusville, FL / Seattle, WA to define and drive manufacturing strategy for space launch programs from concept to production. Relocation provided, travel up to 20%, and interviews with a technical assessment are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with lifecycle from concept to production and leadership.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with CAD and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing focal for assigned subsystems and AI&T activities.
• Plan for and support builds of engineering demonstrators and prototype hardware.
• Drive DFX principles, perform producibility assessments, and develop roadmaps.
• Develop manufacturing artifacts including Production Readiness Level assessments and build strategies.
• Partner with Program Management, Design Engineering, and Operations to identify risks and mitigations.
• Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement.
