Sloan, the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer III for the Andover, MA facility. You will develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes for electronic product lines, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager.

Responsibilities include establishing routings, process sheets, and operating parameters; supporting shop floor troubleshooting; evaluating new equipment; and driving Lean improvements with cost reductions across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering technology.
• 8+ Years industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, methods, and assembly processes.
• Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques
• Strong analytical ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Determine and establish manufacturing engineering requirements for machinery, equipment, tooling, methods and routings.
• Support shop floor personnel in troubleshooting process and quality problems.
• Prepare routings, work instructions, process sheets, and establish feeds, speeds, and cycle times.
• Recommend and implement installation of new equipment and processes.
• Analyze and optimize existing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN techniques.
• Assist in designing products with Design for Manufacturing considerations.
• Identify and implement cost reductions through plant operations.
