Base pay range

$88,920.00/yr - $98,800.00/yr

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II based out of our Andover, MA location that will report to Manufacturing Engineer Manager. The Manufacturing Engineer II performs functions to develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company product lines on an economic and efficient basis.

What you’ll do
  • Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations
  • Assist in the design of products to develop “Design for Manufacturing” parts and processes
  • Analyze, review and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques
  • Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes
  • Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipment
  • Support Production personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems
  • Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Technology
  • 5+ years experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, assembly
  • 5+ years experience with company operations, product lines, or practices
  • Critical thinking and analytical proficiency
  • Clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions, consistent with an inclusive work environment
  • Experience using Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Experience with electrical mechanical assembly
  • Ability to collaborate with co-workers, production personnel, and outside vendors
A plus, but not required
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • General experience with SAP ERP Business System

Compensation and benefits

Compensation: The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $88,920 - $98,800 annually. This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
