FM Industries, a premier manufacturing solutions provider in Livermore, seeks an Engineer, Manufacturing 3 to develop lean manufacturing processes and provide technical support across departments. You will lead projects, collaborate with customers, and implement policy changes while visiting customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities include designing configurations in the ERP system, leading design reviews for manufacturability, and guiding cross-functional teams to reduce costs and cycle

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the precision manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop product configurations and methods using the ERP system.
• Validate manufacturing processes and documentation per specs.
• Lead design reviews to ensure manufacturability.
• Communicate requirements with vendors and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Create fixtures using 3D CAD software to support manufacturing.
• Create assembly and test procedures for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Manage change orders and implement process changes.
• Track cycle times in ERP system.
• Provide technical guidance to departments.
• Conform to ISO procedures and FMI protocols.
