Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Manufacturing Integration Engineer to partner with Test and Launch design engineers, leading fabrication and integration efforts. You will own integration processes, coordinate with third‑party vendors, and develop cross‑functional strategies to ensure manufacturability and tolerance compliance.

The ideal candidate has aerospace manufacturing experience, strong CAD skills with NX/Creo/SolidWorks/CATIA, and a track record of solving complex integration challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing activities related to structural builds, precision tooling, ground support equipment, or similar hardware.
  • Experience using CAD software such as NX, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting partial or full life-cycle structural build projects, including lifting and rigging, integration, and proof testing.
  • Working knowledge of in-field fabrication techniques, such as line boring, match drilling, milling operations, and metrology used to achieve tight tolerances in structural systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical issues, evaluate options, and support effective manufacturing or integration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Test and Launch design engineers to evaluate and implement optimal manufacturing and integration solutions.
  • Lead fabrication and integration efforts, coordinating with third‑party vendors and owning integration processes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including fluids, civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines—to develop effective integration strategies.
  • Select techniques and processes that meet design tolerances and provide input on and approve designs for manufacturability.
