Job summary

Relativity Space in Cape Canaveral, Florida, is seeking an engineer to lead fabrication and integration, partnering with cross‑functional teams to develop manufacturing solutions and ensure designs are manufacturable.

You will use CAD tools such as NX, Creo, SolidWorks, and CATIA and contribute to life‑cycle builds, lifting, rigging, and metrology to achieve tight tolerances, with on‑site work at our government partner location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing activities related to structural builds, precision tooling, ground support equipment, or similar hardware.
• Experience using CAD software such as NX, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting life-cycle structural build projects, including lifting and rigging, integration, and proof testing.
• Working knowledge of fabrication techniques and metrology to meet tight tolerances in structural systems.
• Ability to analyze technical issues, evaluate options, and support manufacturing or integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication and integration efforts with third‑party vendors and internal teams.
• Develop and implement optimal manufacturing and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with fluids, civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines to define integration strategies.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet tolerances.
