Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II – Test & Launch Structures in Cape Canaveral, Florida. You will lead fabrication and integration, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and own integration processes to ensure manufacturability and quality for Terran R structures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in manufacturing related to structural builds, tooling, and GSE, with strong CAD skills in NX/Creo/SolidWorks/CATIA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, aerospace or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years supporting manufacturing activities for structural builds, tooling, GSE, or similar hardware.
  • Experience using CAD software (NX, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA)
  • Experience with partial or full lifecycle structural build projects including lifting, rigging, integration and proof testing.
  • Familiarity with fabrication techniques and metrology to achieve tight tolerances in structural systems.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, evaluate options, and support manufacturability solutions.”

Responsibilities

  • Lead fabrication and integration efforts with Test & Launch design engineers.
  • Coordinate with third‑party vendors and own integration processes.
  • Collaborate with fluids, civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to develop integration strategies.
  • Select techniques and processes meeting design tolerances, and approve designs for manufacturability.
  • Support continuous improvement of assembly and test workflows.
