Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own major mechanized assemblies for the Terran R program, from design release through test and integration. You will define build flows, supervise part sourcing, and ensure efficient, scalable production on the shop floor.

You will mentor other engineers, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity is common and ownership is valued.

Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience building and testing hardware in manufacturing.
• Experience developing processes and work instructions.
• Experience interfacing with design, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Experience leading large process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own major mechanized assemblies from design release through test and integration.
• Drive build and test effort via design integration and part sourcing.
• Support workcenter development including tooling and equipment needs.
• Provide hands-on shop floor support and upstream feedback for manufacturability.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring manufacturing discrepancies.
• Mentor other manufacturing engineers.
