Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring for a hardware manufacturing role focused on building and testing rocket sub‑systems. You will own the hardware from design release through build, test, and delivery, ensuring quality and readiness for high‑volume production.

You’ll develop detailed build flows and procedures, support first article builds, and drive improvements across tooling and processes. This role requires a degree in engineering and 2+ years hands‑on hardware experience in manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or related technical field; 2+ years hands‑on hardware experience in manufacturing or integration.
  • Experience investigating hardware issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with assembly, testing, tolerance analysis, and leak checks.
  • Ability to interface across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to ensure schedule and quality.
  • Self‑starter; capable of defining and rolling out new processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own hardware from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle sub‑systems.
  • Develop and release detailed build flows, work instructions, and test procedures.
  • Support first article builds, focusing on manufacturability and repeatability for ramp.
  • Provide hands‑on floor support; resolve issues in real time and drive improvements.
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure part readiness, tooling, and smooth handoffs.
  • Contribute to long‑term manufacturing systems and infrastructure development.
