Job summary
Relativity Space is seeking a manufacturing engineer to own forming operations and deliver high-quality formed products for Terran R’s primary structure. You will bring online a press brake work center, lead development to form up to 20-foot sheets, and create robust work instructions and specifications across multiple high-fidelity forming processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years progressive and related manufacturing experience.
- Strong fundamentals in process improvement, forming, metallic processing, mechanics of materials.
Responsibilities
- Own forming operations within the work center and deliver all formed products.
- Lead the development to form up to 20’ sheets for primary structure.
- Create work instructions, specifications, and best practices across high-fidelity processes.
- Standardize processes across the manufacturing team.
- Support shop floor with live issue resolution and feedback during manufacturing tech development.
- Provide DFA feedback to structures teams during development and initial builds.
