Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL. The ME will support technical performance across depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC).

Responsibilities include developing and managing manufacturing documentation, processes, and work instructions, plus providing production support on and off the factory floor. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience with military standards and disposition of nonconforming material.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and instructions to meet program and site targets.
• Conduct technical and manufacturing data verifications and safety assessments.
• Assist in developing work cell layouts to optimize product flow.
• Plan and document manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques and document practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on policies and procedures.
• Leverage prior Collins manufacturing experience for career growth.
