Collins Aerospace in Burnsville, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to apply engineering knowledge to solve manufacturing problems for electrical/mechanical pressure sensing devices. This onsite role will place you where the action is and requires interfacing with production leaders, maintenance, quality, and design teams.

You will maintain process documentation, learn SAP and Creo, pursue cost savings, and use SPC/data analytics to improve OEE, FPY and scrap reduction.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree or 6 years of equivalent experience.
• Active DoD clearance required before start.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production documentation and routings.
• Learn operation and programming of assigned equipment.
• Use metrology tools for processes.
• Apply SPC and data analytics for productivity, FPY and OEE targets.
• Drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Develop PFMEA and Control Plans and improve manufacturing processes.
