Job summary

Amphenol Cable and Interconnect Technologies Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support product life cycle from concept to launch. You will develop processes and equipment to build products safely, accurately, timely, and cost-effectively, collaborating with engineering, quality, sales, and operations.

The role requires strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with DOE/DFM, ERP systems, and CAD tools. Travel is around 10%.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required from ABET-accredited program (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• CMfgT certification by SME or equivalent or academic track record with professional certification is acceptable.
• Experience levels range from entry to senior depending on level within manufacturing engineering.
• Familiarity with aerospace, military defense, or medical industries is a plus.
• Proficient in applying design for manufacturability (DFM) concepts.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specs to provide manufacturing feedback and cost/lead-time estimates.
• Develop process instructions for production floor to achieve KPI targets.
• Lead Design of Experimentation (DOE) projects to identify root causes and improvements.
• Manage New Product and Process Development (NPD) projects cross-functionally.
