Job summary

Amphenol CIT in Wisconsin seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support product lifecycle from concept to launch. You will develop processes and equipment to enable safe, accurate, timely, and cost-effective production, working with cross-functional teams and acting as SME for production issues.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering and experience in manufacturing, with a focus on design-for-manufacturability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Experience with manufacturing principles and processes.
• Experience in aerospace, military defense, or medical industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specs to provide manufacturing feedback.
• Estimate part costs, lead times, material usage, fixture costs, and NRE.
• Maintain quote integrity and provide DF feedback to customers.
• Develop process instructions for production floor to meet KPI.
• Communicate design concerns and manufacturability improvements.
• Design of Experimentation to identify root causes and opportunities.
• Lead NPD projects with cross-functional teams.
• Provide SME support to production for problem solving.
• Review issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Support change control and audit processes.
• Assist with cost estimates for sales and rework instructions.
• Provide technical support on standards, capabilities, and materials.
• Develop compliant processes and participate in audits.
