Job summary

Amphenol CIT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I–III to join a cross-functional team. You will drive product life cycle activities from concept through launch and maturation, developing processes and equipment to build products safely, accurately, timely, and cost-effectively.

The role requires interpreting drawings and data, developing process instructions, and providing technical support to the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited program (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Transferable manufacturing knowledge across multiple processes (metal fabrication, machining, finishing, electrical assembly, wire/harness assembly, electrical integration).
• Experience with CAD software and ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, specifications and workmanship standards to provide manufacturing feedback.
• Develop part process instructions to satisfy KPI’s on the production floor.
• Lead NPD projects with cross-functional teams from concept to launch.
• Provide engineering expertise to resolve production issues as needed.
• Assist with cost estimation and change control processes.
• Support audits to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

Education

ABET-accredited engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

CMfgE/ SME certification (preferred)
