Job summary

LISI Aerospace North America is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to provide technical support to the assigned UAP and manufacturing teams in California. You will develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, applying CAD/CAM, Lean tools, and production equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• B.S. Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 1-3 engineering experience in manufacturing environment procedures.
• Working knowledge of relevant engineering applications.
• Proficient in Computer aided design (CAD/CAM)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes LEAP tools and continuous improvement methods to support their UAP and resolve issues.
• Participates in PSM2 meetings and collaborates with team members to meet plant needs.
• Assists in research, design and development of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Coordinates layouts of buildings and equipment with detail and accuracy.
• Coordinates manufacturing launches of new/revised products including training and evaluating results.
