Job summary

Senior Aerospace Spencer in California is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing and production processes with engineering technology, information, and planning. Liaison with Manufacturing and Quality personnel is required to ensure products and processes meet requirements.

You will develop routings and BOMs in ERP, create engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and quality while applying lean manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelors or advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering field.
2-3 years engineering related experience (preferred).
3D solid modeling CAD experience (in school or working) (preferred).

Responsibilities

Plans, develops, maintains, and provides product Routings and Bills of Materials for products via ERP/MRP in support of Planning and Manufacturing.
Develops, maintains, and provides engineering drawings, layouts, and 3D solid models for Manufacturing, CNC Programming, and Inspection.
Works with Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality to support products and processes, inside and outside the company.
Manages cycle times, lead times, and process data in ERP; conducts cycle time studies for improvement.
