Job summary

The Continuous Improvement Engineer at LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA in Garden Grove leads and supports lean initiatives across manufacturing and supporting functions to boost safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency.

You will facilitate Kaizen events, drive cross-functional teams, analyze processes, and develop plans that deliver sustainable improvements while partnering with Operations and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum 2–5 years of manufacturing, engineering, Lean, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean certification, or equivalent continuous improvement training preferred.
• Experience with Kaizen events and leading cross-functional improvement projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events and Lean strategy development across manufacturing and support functions.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate multi-day Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify problems, perform root-cause analysis, implement countermeasures, and follow up.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and efficiency.
• Develop business cases, quantify benefits, and track financial and operational impact of improvements.
• Coach and train employees in Lean principles and structured problem solving.
• Present proposals, progress, and results to senior management.
