LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in California to support Lean projects and manufacturing improvements. You will assist with time studies, metric displays, and tool drawings using CAD.

The role requires pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access and CAD proficiency.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing projects/Continuous Improvement.
• Produces production metrics and creates display boards.
• Performs time studies to establish production standards.
• Utilizes Solid Works to create drawings for tools, parts, and work stations, etc.
• Create SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Other duties may be assigned.
