Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Valley Green, PA. You will design and document assembly tooling and processes, coordinate tooling acquisitions, and support process improvements for high-velocity interconnect products.

As part of a global organization, you will work with cross-functional teams, perform process analyses, and travel domestically and internationally up to 20% to optimize cost, quality and delivery across Wood area manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 4+ years related experience preferred
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawings
• Strong tool design experience and Creo skills desired
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, write reports and manuals
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; and machine programming/vision is a plus

Responsabilités

• Develop and document assembly tooling for new/existing products
• Develop and document assembly processes, process sheets and procedures
• Define process steps, material handling and sequence of operations
• Prepare preliminary process specifications and equipment requirements
• Define supply chain from raw material to customer application
• Assess process times, yields and capacity; model as needed
• Contribute to FMEA and risk assessments; define critical parameters
• Assist with cost and operational justifications for tooling
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities for mature processes
