Amphenol Corporation is seeking an Automation Engineer for our Valley Green, PA site. You will join a cross-functional team responsible for conceiving, testing, and deploying automated tooling and production systems for high-speed interconnect manufacturing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process teams to deliver robust solutions. The ideal candidate brings a Mechanical or Robotic Engineering background, hands-on automation experience with PLCs and electrical

Formación

MS (with 5+ years' experience) or BS (with 10+ years) in Mechanical or Robotic Engineering.
Must have experience with automation, PLCs, and electrical controls.
Proficient with solid modeling tools, Pro/E Creo preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical & non-technical people.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

Develop concepts, write scope of work documents, and design, test, deploy tooling and validation of automated systems.
Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers, supporting the development, fabrication and build of prototypes, pilot production and deployment of high-volume factory automation.
Experience with machining as well as design is beneficial.
