Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions invites a Process Engineer to join the HSIO-Valley Green team in Valley Green, PA. The role focuses on developing and improving assembly processes, with emphasis on cost, quality and delivery performance.

The candidate will drive automated process development, qualification activities and lean initiatives while coordinating with design, manufacturing and vendors. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years process engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and process control aspects of assembly processes.
• Develop automated processes and lean improvement plans (SMED, TPM).
• Prepare PFMEA, Process Qualification, Control Plans and DOE.
• Coordinate with internal & external vendors for prototypes and tooling.
• Support production with capacity planning and cost reduction initiatives.
