Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Application Development Engineer in Valley Green, PA to lead technical projects involved in connectors and cable systems. You will work with customers and multi-site teams to turn requirements into manufacturable, cost-effective designs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in product development/design.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or an Electrical/Electronic degree alternative.
• Experience designing high speed connectors and cable assemblies.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct technical projects for connectors and cable systems.
• Translate customer requirements into product concepts with cross-site teams.
• Design for manufacturability to optimize cost and production.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing and conduct project reviews.
• Develop test plans and verify designs through tests, simulations, and analyses.
