Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to design, test, and scale mission-critical hardware across autonomous platforms. You will own components and assemblies from requirements through prototyping and volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities include 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and cross-functional collaboration with Electrical, Manufacturing, Safety, and Test teams. A strong foundation in first principles and hands-on fabrication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7+ years of hands-on mechanical design from concept to fabrication.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and PLM tools with GD&T expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mechanical hardware from concept to production.
• Create high-fidelity 3D models and 2D drawings per GD&T standards.
• Collaborate across Electrical, Manufacturing, Safety, and Quality teams.
• Lead prototyping, testing, and hardware verification activities.
• Perform tolerance analysis and DFMA assessments early.
