Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead the development and execution of manufacturing processes for Intel Systems - Arsenal.

The role covers design for manufacturability, tooling design, and building scalable production lines for complex defense hardware. The candidate will work cross-functionally, partner with contract manufacturers, and travel to suppliers as needed to resolve production issues and implement quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, preferably in a high-reliability industry.
• Experience creating clear, detailed work instructions and manufacturing process documentation.
• Proven ability to analyze and improve manufacturing processes using lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing of Anduril’s intelligence systems across all manufacturing steps.
• Provide Design for manufacturability and assembly feedback.
• Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
• Develop process flows and production lines for sub-assemblies.
• Evaluate and disposition non-conformances of hardware.
• Write documentation for scale manufacturing (work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements).
• Iterate on assembly processes incorporating lessons learned.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers for repeatable, sustained processes.
