Job summary
Anduril Intelligence Systems is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to lead the manufacturing process development for defense hardware, including static equipment and complex vehicles, in the United States.
You will own manufacturing across all steps, provide design for manufacturability feedback, develop tooling solutions, and write production workflows and quality plans. Collaboration with contract manufacturers and travel to suppliers will be necessary to scale production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
- 12+ years of manufacturing process development experience.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Experience creating detailed work instructions and process documentation.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and standard work.
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing of intelligence systems across all steps.
- Provide design for manufacturability and assembly feedback.
- Develop tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
- Develop process flows and production line layouts.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers for scale-up.
- Write work instructions and quality plans.
- Travel to suppliers to source and solve production issues.
