Job summary

Anduril Intelligence Systems is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to lead the manufacturing process development for our intelligence systems. The role covers design for manufacturability, tooling development, and building scalable production lines for complex hardware.

You will develop process flows, create work instructions, and coordinate with contract manufacturers, technicians, and engineers to deliver high-reliability hardware from prototype to full-scale production. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in manufacturing process development in high-reliability environments.
• Ability to produce detailed work instructions and manufacturing process documentation.
• Experience optimizing manual assembly operations and establishing standardized work.
• Lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with CAD for assembly documentation and tooling design.
• Familiarity with SPC and capability studies.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing of Anduril’s intelligence systems across all manufacturing steps.
• Provide Design for manufacturability and assembly feedback.
• Develop tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
• Develop process flows and production lines for sub-assemblies.
• Evaluate and disposition non-conformances of hardware.
• Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
• Iterate on assembly processes with lessons learned.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers for rapid development and scale.
• Work hands-on with technicians and engineers on prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical or electrical design including interconnects and board fabrication.
• Travel to suppliers for sourcing and quality implementation.
