Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design manufacturing processes, layouts, and production support for complex assemblies and test systems. You will develop process documentation for bonding, fabrication, coating, and additive manufacturing, and work with a chief engineer on repair procedures.

The role requires a STEM degree, CAD experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government Secret clearance. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field required.
• Experience with CAD software for drafting/modeling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Design manufacturing processes, layouts for assemblies and equipment.
• Develop process documentation for bonding, mechanical fabrication, coating, and additive manufacturing.
• Work with the chief engineer to develop repair procedures.
• Evaluate incoming production for feasibility and process definition.
• Define fabrication process based on component features; materials and dimensions.
• Create and maintain work instructions.
• Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for tooling and equipment.
