Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Middle River, MD, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer or Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join the Advanced Interconnects and Multilayer Solutions cell. You will help develop and improve processes for multi‑layer circuit boards, drilling, routing, and tooling, working on state‑of‑the‑art RF hardware.

The role requires a STEM degree and hands-on process engineering experience; strong GD&T/DOE/SPC skills preferred, with MS Word/Excel literacy.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related STEM field with relevant experience; DOE/SPC knowledge; GD&T proficiency.
• Experience with multi‑layered circuit boards and drilling, CMM, routing processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining manufacturing processes with focus on affordability.
• Creating and managing project plans for process development activities.
• Training new personnel and assisting with operator training materials.
