Volt is immediately hiring Soldering Assemblers for a local leading manufacturing company in San Diego, CA. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM.
As a Soldering Assembler you will: Build cable and wire harnesses, box assemblies, kits, and other products from start to finish while working under indirect supervision. Follow work orders, instructions, and sample assemblies to complete tasks. Perform tasks such as labeling, cutting wires, crimping, soldering, assembling parts, packaging, and testing for quality. Work with a variety of different cables such as round, shielded, flat, and coax cable. Utilize traditional and non-traditional tools such as cable strippers, cable cutters, crimp tools, heat guns, pliers, screwdrivers, and more. Assist in the QMS and the commitment for continuous improvement. May be assigned other duties as needed.
This is a Full-time, Contract to Hire Opportunity.
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
