Spirit AeroSystems, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks an engineer to coordinate manufacturing plans and tooling for complex aerostructures in Kansas. You will apply process engineering principles, lead CI initiatives, and work with engineering, manufacturing and supply teams to optimize assembly and tooling configurations.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering (ABET-accredited) and 2+ years of relevant experience, with CATIA and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Toolset (Seven Wastes, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide the program manufacturing and tooling plan.
• Ensures identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and improves processes for the type design.
• Uses process engineering principles and techniques.
• Develops, establishes, and guides requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
• Performs trade and cost studies and assists in leading integrated product and process teams.
